Drilling and Cutting

DRILLING AND CUTTING

Diamond Drilling is the most efficient method used to cut holes from 8mm to 1000mm diameter. Openings to virtually unlimited depths can be achieved through all types of construction materials including reinforced concrete, stone, masonry etc. Precision cutting is achieved using innovative techniques and equipment. Stitch drilling (the method of drilling a series of interconnecting holes) enables the removal of large volumes of reinforced concrete or brickwork, where there is an impracticality or impossibility to saw cut.

  • Reduced noise pollution
  • Reduced air pollution with dust collection and water suppression
  • Prevents spalling and spelching
  • Precise
  • Non-destructive

Wall & Floor Chasing

A Chase is formed using a vacuum controlled double-headed chasing grinder with two diamond blades fitted (the vacuum collects dust before it escapes into the environment). Two slots are cut to precise width and depth measurements and the concrete between the two slots is removed using a hammer drill or small breaker.

Soft Strip

Copley Site Services Ltd engages in general soft strip and strip out. We can offer cost effective and efficient services for the removal of all fixtures, fittings, services, temporary structures and M&E etc. to effectively leave an "empty shell" prior to refurbishment.
