FIRESTOPPING

Passive fire protection is integral to the safety of a building and its occupants. Working to rigorous standards, our teams of highly experienced and competent installers can provide firestopping for up to 4hrs to all service penetrations and/or voids in fire compartment walls and floors. This ensures full compliance with the specified fire strategy and approved document B of the Building Regulations.

As a FIRAS accredited approved contractor we have been required to undergo a 3-stage assessment process, and are subject to both ongoing annual audits of our systems and procedures, and random surveillance site inspections where competence and workmanship are assessed. We are required to employ, on a continuous basis, competent supervisors and technicians/installers whose technical and practical competence is assessed and verified by FIRAS.

Via FIRAS, certificates of conformity are issued to our clients upon completion of our works, which offer confidence and a means of ensuring that installations have been conducted by knowledgeable contractors to appropriate standards, thereby increasing reliability of the anticipated performance in fire.

Air Sealing

Air tightness plays a crucial role in the energy efficiency of buildings. From pre-test sealing to remedial air sealing, Copley Site Services can offer full package solutions in line with approved document L of the Building Regulations.

Acoustic Sealing

Acoustic performance can be a critical factor in assessing whether a building is fit for purpose. Copley Site Services has a vast and varied product portfolio to ensure that the required Db rating can be achieved in accordance with approved document E of the
Building Regulations.
